Prototype: German State Railroad of the GDR (DR/GDR) class 64 tank locomotive. Version with triple headlights, bell behind the smoke stack, and turbo dynamo. Road number 64 1308-2. The locomotive looks as it did around 1970.
Model: The locomotive has a digital decoder and extensive sound functions. It also has controlled high-efficiency propulsion. 3 axles powered. Traction tires. A 72270 smoke unit can be installed in the locomotive. Triple headlights change over with the direction of travel. They and the smoke unit contact will work in conventional operation and can be controlled digitally. Maintenance-free, warm white LEDs are used for the lighting. Brake hose detail parts and piston rod protection sleeves are included.
