• Post-war Henschel cab-over truck with skip loader, 1955-61
The prototype of Henschel’s first post-war cab-over truck was given a second lease of life and upgraded with a skip loader.
This gave the legendary Henschel a new and welcome role for the first time. The traditional model makers paid great attention to the detailing of the skip loader, especially since the Henschel front end gained character primarily through the brand family’s distinctive radiator grille with its typical hood. The fine grille structure is reflected in the mold engravings, as is the distinctive Henschel star and the various decorative strips that once added value to the otherwise plain sheet metal. The roof features raised ventilation flaps and the optional standard signal light.
