Land Rover 107 Series I in a contemporary guise
Europe’s all-wheel drive history places one name at the forefront, and that name is Land Rover. WIKING has miniaturized the Land Rover 107 Series I in its 1958 pickup version – naturally with plenty of silver trim all around.
This adds a beautiful all-wheel drive classic to the WIKING range. The original Land Rover has a long WIKING history: The first, short “Landy” 88 premiered in 1962 in 1:87 scale, followed three years later by the addition of the folding roof. The fact that this legendary off-roader has earned its future presence in a pickup version is also due to its untouchable classic status.
WIKING meticulously crafted the numerous body details, particularly on the enclosed cab and the flatbed, with all the contemporary fittings. Naturally, the front end, with its inset grille and headlights, also receives the utmost attention, perfecting the new look. The body and rims are cream beige, while the interior, including the steering wheel, is black. The headlights, window surrounds, and hinges are accented with silver, while the taillights are printed with red.
