Piko 96551 – Electric locomotive Rh 2800 / 120001, SNCB

The PIKO model of the Belgian cult locomotive Rh 20 faithfully reproduces its prototype with the striking front end in every detail. The grab irons are free-standing and fitted as standard. The Rh 20 has impressive filigree pantographs and extremely vivid bogie covers. The lighting is provided by LEDs. The cab lighting and the headlights and marker lights that work depending on the direction of travel can be controlled digitally with a PluX22 decoder. A powerful five-pole motor with two precisely balanced flywheel masses ensures propulsion and excellent driving characteristics. The PIKO model has a heavy die-cast zinc frame and two traction tires arranged diagonally on the inner axles of the two bogies for high tractive forces. Brake hoses are included as accessories. The model is equipped with a PluX22 interface and is prepared for uncomplicated retrofitting with a sound decoder and large loudspeaker.
