For 66 years, ROCO has been delighting fans and collectors worldwide with innovative model railway technology. This technology is visible on the outer wall of the anniversary Taurus: the motor, gearbox, circuit board and digital decoder are depicted in great detail. But is this the technology of a real Taurus – or the technology hidden within the model? A question that fans and rail travellers can answer for themselves.
The legend of Europa on the bull symbolises strength, movement and the courage to set out on a new journey. It is precisely these values that the Taurus electric locomotive embodies, its name deliberately evoking the powerful bull. Just as Europa was once carried across the sea, the Taurus today connects countries and cultures on Europe’s railways. It stands for modern technology, reliability and boundless mobility.
