“Very British.” Founded in 1909 by Harry Frederick Stanley Morgan, British automaker Morgan Motor Company is the only company in the world to use ash frames in the bodies of its sports cars. This production technology dates back to the time of carriage construction and has survived to this day. After the death of the company founder in 1959, his son Peter Morgan took over the management and continued the company policy of the house with great consistency, so under his leadership was the Morgan Plus 8. In October 1968, this noble gem was presented to the public at the Motor Show in London , The most fundamental difference to its predecessor, the Plus 4, was the 8-cylinder engine, which is why they also chose a new product name. The body was not changed except for the integrated into the fenders headlights – the original price was in 1968 at DM 16,192.00. The still privately owned company is run in the third generation by Charles Morgan. In 2009, it celebrated its 100th anniversary and will continue to inspire its fanbase with its beautiful vehicles. After all, around 1,000 vehicles are built each year, which bring the company a turnover of about 48 million euros, while Germany is the second largest market of this luxury brand. The vehicles are particularly elegant in noble metallic paints.
