The DB-V60 is completely new as an ESU model!
\nThe chassis, body, engine, gearbox, pickup shoe, smoke unit, lighting, digital coupling, loudspeaker and all details have been newly developed. The lamp inserts have vertical engravings to match the impression of DB unit lanterns.<\/p>\n
The conversion from AC (factory setting) to DC operation is carried out by removing the center slider and switching over a small slide switch directly in front of the front axle.<\/p>\n
The digital, remote-controllable, electromagnetic coupling sits in a standard shaft, is height-adjustable in two stages and, if necessary, can be easily exchanged without soldering thanks to the plug or replaced with any coupling.<\/p>\n
The newly designed smoke generator produces a larger vapor output.<\/p>\n
The LokSound 5 decoder is completely new. Smooth driving characteristics and a number of useful functions and setting options inspire the rail operator. There is a “heavy train” function, for example, in which the acceleration and braking times are doubled and the motor works acoustically at a higher speed. With the “locomotive brake” the locomotive idles and brakes a little harder – if necessary to a standstill – regardless of the throttle position. In shunting mode, the locomotive accelerates and decelerates more than in normal mode.<\/p>\n
